About Steam Hollow:

Blane and Natalie are both Navy veterans and actually served on the same ship at the same time but did not know each other at the time.

Blane served 4 years as a Boatswain’s mate until he was hurt underway and medically discharged.  He served on the USS Duluth and USS Constellation based out of San Diego.

Natalie served 16 years total of active and reserve duty and separated at the rank of LT.  She did a tour in Japan before being stationed on several ships and squadrons based out of San Diego.

Blane is from Bend Oregon, a craft brew mecca in the US.  Natalie is from Chicago and Bourbonnais.  In 2011 they moved from San Diego to Manteno, where Natalie’s mom lives, upon the passing of her dad.

Shortly thereafter Blane started homebrewing and joining homebrewing clubs.  That progressed into what is now Manteno’s very own brewery, Steam Hollow Brewing Co
